The holidays are a time for family, a time to give thanks, and a time to welcome neighbors with open arms. However you celebrate, these holidays all have one thing in common: community.

   “It is a time to celebrate the rich traditions of all cultures,” Larry Byrnes says. “It is a time to treat each other as neighbors with a common home: planet earth.”

   Larry Byrnes understands the delicate issues of immigration, and while he believes in securing our borders, he also believes in treating others with inclusiveness and integrity.

   As an immigrant from Canada in the 1950’s, Larry knows what an accepting place America can be. It’s a country built by immigrants, and a nation of people who pride themselves on the qualities that make them and their communities unique.

   America is sought out by people from across the globe because it offers the dream of a better life, and a better future. Larry Byrnes has lived that American dream, and believes everyone, no matter what their background, skin color, or faith, should have the opportunity to do the same.

   “We can do this by offering tough but reasonable paths to citizenship,” Larry says. “This includes background checks, paying back taxes, learning English as a second language, enforcing current laws, and launching a new Diplomatic Border Offensive by engaging Mexico and Canada tri-level discussions about causes and solutions to border problems.”
